PACIFIC HEIGHTS CO-OP

“Easy and inviting” was the client’s request for this Pacific Heights co-op apartment for a family with a teenage daughter. In the dramatic Foyer, the walls were glazed a rich, warm red to highlight the client's important collection of black and white photography. Marzo scoured auction houses for unusual and well-priced furnishings to expand the family’s collection of antiques gathered abroad. The comfortable Dining Room with its monochromatic color scheme was designed to encourage friends and family to linger over food and conversation. In the soothing Master Bedroom, a 17th century Spanish confessional has been reincarnated as a whimsical armoire. The overall result is a multi-cultural mix that is stylish without being trendy, elegant yet not stuffy.
